Donating a car is easy just follow these simple steps:

2. We pick up your car at your location.
3. You get a receipt, and 100% of the net proceeds goes to Happy Children’s Foundation
4. Deduct 100% of its value from your income tax
   

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does the tax deduction work?
You can claim up to $500 for any donated vehicle; deduction claims for car donations valued at over $500 will be restricted to the actual sale value of the vehicle. Within 30 days of the sale of your vehicle, we will send you a notice with the date of the sale, as well as any sale amount over $500.

I live in Los Angeles. Can you pick up my car?
Yes. We serve the entire southern California region.

How can I schedule a time to have my car picked up?

My car hasn’t run in years. Can I still donate it?
Yes, we are able to accept vehicles whether they run or not. However, the condition of your vehicle will affect the value of your donation.
